The Secretariat is responsible for the implementation of the Society's programmatic work - as approved by the Governing Council - as well as the growth and development of SID's network of members and chapters.

It is currently staffed by a small, professional staff that believes in the power of collective work and ideas, is committed to change and is inspired by values of equity, social justice, and celebration of diversity.
